All tables in this series were developed to minimize the height
buildup when two linear stages are stacked together. Careful
design has reduced the total overall height to a mere 2.9
inches, little more than the 2.6 inch height of one
NEMA 23 motor.
The stages are machined from stress free
cast aluminum tooling plate and the machining
process includes multiple setups for both
roughing and finishing. This multi step machining
process emphasizes the ultimate precision of the finished
product, not the most efficient material removal.

These slides are equipped with precision crossed roller
linear bearings and precision recirculating ball screws to insure high
load capacity, smooth, accurate motion and very
low (<.0005”) backlash. In addition, NEMA
23 motor mounts and Helical beam ¼”
couplings come standard. Optical sensors
(Omron EE-SX671A) come mounted at center
and end of travel for both axis (six switches total)
and each axis has a 5 foot pigtail for the switches
terminating in an Amphenol 9 pin connector.
Some of the options available on these tables include
linear encoders and stainless steel Helical couplings for
additional stiffness. We also routinely provide alternate mounting holes, different motor mounts or adapters and belt
drives to provide drive reduction or step up as well as positioning the motor along side of the screw.
