The sheet metal plates visible on the sides of the slides are the
locks for the individual axis. Tightening the single screw locks the axis
while assuring that no side loads are induced to cause unwanted
movement. The gussets can be mounted in any orientation. The
rotation is locked by a single set screw, the access hole is visible in the
edge of the round mounting plate at the top of the assembly.
Combined X-Y Slide.
This combined slide is 1.900 inches tall
compared to 2.25 inches if two single axis
slides are stacked together.
Single axis slide.
This modular series of slides was originally
developed for the precise positioning of laser focus
heads but their accuracy, stability and modularity
make them suitable for many other applications.
The system in the photo has X, Y, and Z axis as well
as (2) tilt/swivel axis. The round disk with the 2
mounting holes and degrees marked off at the front
left of this system is where the laser head would
normally be mounted.
Manual Linear Slide System

These slides utilize crossed roller
bearings for maximum stability and
smooth motion.
Travel for each single axis is ± .65
Inches
