We have produced literally hundreds of slides over the years to provide exactly what the particular
application required. Here as an example is a rendering and a drawing of one of them. It features high load
capacity, (500 pounds) low profile, adjustable home and limit switches and a rolling cover to keep the
bearings and rails clean.

This is our Academy Award® winning motorized linear slide
We were honored to be recognized by The Academy of Motion
Picture Arts & Sciences for the fact that these slides along with
our model 1068 Rotor have "become the de-facto standard of
the industry". They are principally used by the visual effects
industry for the precise positioning of cameras and models.
Available in travels from 6 to 48 inches.

Features that provide modularity include:
•1/4 inch keyway along the entire bottom of the slide.
•matching keyways in top plate provide automatic alignment for X - Y axis
•Holes in base are tapped to accept 10-32 screws from underneath
•The same 10-32 base holes will allow an 8-32 screw to pass through from the top
•Helicoil inserts in the top plate accept 8-32 screws coming through another slide mounted on top
•Repeating hole pattern in base allows placement of one slide to another anywhere along its length
•3/8 - 16 holes in the corners allow mounting of our model 1068 Rotator to be mounted to the top plate.
•Motor & belt reduction can be mounted from either side and ratio can be easily changed to suit requirements
