Machine description/operation: Fasteners of different head configurations (socket head, twelve point, flat head
and protrusion head) are oriented in the feeder bowl and fed down the adjustable width tracks. The set up of the feeder
bowl tooling and the track width requires no tools to adjust. Both are set by snapping one of the parts to be fed into the
tooling. The fastener is picked up at the end of the track by the quick change (also no tools required) gripping fingers
(you can see the fingers for different part diameters stored on pins on the face of the bracket holding up the track). The
gripping fingers transfer the fastener to an induction heating coil. The heating cycle is terminated by the infrared camera
at the right side of the machine which measures actual part temperature. On termination of the heating cycle the part is
dropped down the ejection tube into a container of oil.
