Automatic Loading Systems - Screw Machines
This machine is set up to feed the sleeve of a rivet from the right hand side and present the sleeve in front of the
spindle. Our basic Traub loader orients and feeds the stem of the rivet through the waiting sleeve and into the open
spindle. The stem is gripped by the collet, the loaders get out of the way and a roller rolls the sleeve onto the stem. The
finished assembly is then traditionally ejected.

Notice the part reversing block in
mid travel. By removing one screw
from this block and inserting it into a
second hole, this block can orient
the head of the part towards the
spindle or with the head away from
the spindle so the shank is gripped.

This system mounts to existing Traub
mounting surfaces so it can be customer
mounted in the field.

Note that all necessary adjustments
on this system use standard Traub
square head bolts so all machine set
up can be accomplished with one
wrench.

This machine is set up to shave the heads of small rivets. The 1.500” long rivet has a head to be shaved that is about
.100” in diameter and .200 inches long. The complete cycle time for load, shaving the head, and ejecting is under 5
seconds.
